At present, two public-sector organisations in Pakistan, the Overseas Employment Corporation and the National University of Technology, are making agreements with the Japanese institutions with the help of the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo for technical intern training. intends to employ interns and trainees in Japan.
Both institutions are currently working on the demand of various Japanese institutions in this regard, and six interns or trainees trained by the National University of Technology have been granted visas by the Government of Japan.
These interns and trainees can change their visa category to skilled worker after working as interns for three years. In addition to these interns and trainees, the process of issuing visas to four interns and trainees of the Overseas Employment Corporation and more than fifty interns and trainees of the National University of Technology is ongoing.
